This years Lotusphere is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever! I've just reviewed the session list and picked out four sessions that touch on extending Domino applications and infrastructure to Mobile devices including BlackBerry.
Rob Wunderlich (DominoUnplugged.com) and I will be presenting a best practice session based on our experiences of delivering Domino applications to mobile devices. Rob and Gabriella of the Turtle partnership presented the session last year and it proved very popular. For this years presentation I think we're adding something like 35% new content including new demos. We'll be demonstrating applications delivered via the micro-browser and bespoke Java programs and talking about the techniques we've used. I'm working on an updated version of craicBerry (an integrated Domino and BlackBerry Java application) and following on from last year I'll be making the source code available through openCOD.
As yet the timing and locations of these sessions have yet to be published so keep an eye on these URLs. We'll publish more details here as and when they become available.
Based on our experience of Lotusphere 2007 we expect to see a lot of BlackBerry activity during the week and we'll let you know more closer to the time.....
